I tend to like progressive metal with technical rhythms. My current heavy rotation (haha, pun) includes:
- The Algorithm. Progressive industrial electronic metal. Data Renaissance and Brute Force are both quite good. Other projects include Boucle Infinie.
- MASTER BOOT RECORD. Baroque chiptune RISC (reduced instrument set composer). Other projects include KEYGEN CHURCH.
- Intervals. High-energy upbeat technical progressive metal. Belvedere is one of my favourite tracks.
- Mick Gordon.The DOOM Eternal soundtrack is my favourite work of his, but Bethesda fucked the release really badly, so this is probably the best way to listen to it.
Some other stylistically dissimilar artists I really like are young scrolls (ZOOM), Patricia Taxxon (Foley Artist, Pix & Bit), and Death Grips (The Money Store, NO LOVE DEEP WEB).
